Every Scout looks forward to earning their Whittling Chip. Before they ever carry a real pocket knife, they need to learn how one works.
Our handcrafted wooden pocket knife kit was designed as a safe, hands-on training tool that lets Scouts practice opening, closing, locking, and handling a folding knife with confidence.
The blade features a rounded, dull edge that's safe for little hands, yet sturdy enough to cut through a bar of soap—making it perfect for practicing basic knife handling techniques without the risks of a real blade.
